Makati Museum

This is the Makati Museum located at the corner of J. P. Rizal and A. Mabini Streets and across Poblacion Sports Complex. This photo was taken while riding a jeep travelling along J. P. Rizal and heading to Guadalupe.

This old building, constructed in year 1918 as the first municipal hall of the back then Municipality of Makati. When the municipal hall was moved to its current site, the building was used as a municipal library. In year 1992, it was then turned into a museum.

The museum exhibits different relics, paintings and murals. It also has film showings, stage presentations and lectures.
