The Insular Life Building is a high-rise building in Makati that serves as the local head office for the Insular Life Corporation. This building was designed by Cesar Concio and is made of concrete. It was the old corporate headquarters of the Insular Life Corporation until the company moved to its new building in Muntinlupa.
Initially, the Insular Life Building was supposed to be demolished in the fourth quarter of 2002 to make way for a 135,000-square-meter office tower to be built by Insular Life Corporation. However, the building has never been demolished. Instead, it underwent a redevelopment and modernization process, including new cladding.
To reach the Insular Life Building in Makati, take a taxi or ride-hailing service or drive your own car or motorcycle and park at the building’s parking spaces. There are also jeepneys and buses roaming Ayala Avenue. The building is also within walking distance from MRT and bus routes along EDSA.
